No longer ensconced in front of her computer (first chapter by 1 December, I swear), sharkskin girl made it out for a moment to review David Byrne's latest show at Pace/MacGill Gallery, "Furnishing the Self—Upholstering the Soul," for Artforum.com.  The show's up until 25 November, and though The Freud, 2006, is a little strange (really?  sit on his cigar?), it's definitely worth the hike uptown.
